Micromeritics HPVA II

HPVA II – High-Pressure Gas Adsorption and Desorption Analyzer
The Micromeritics HPVA II delivers precise, high-pressure gas adsorption and desorption isotherms for studying hydrogen, methane, CO₂, and other gases. Using the static volumetric method, it characterizes adsorption behavior from high vacuum up to 200 bar and from cryogenic to 500 °C, enabling accurate insights into gas storage, separation, and capture processes.
Designed for advanced research in hydrogen storage, carbon-capture and sequestration, fuel cells, and shale gas or hydrocarbon trapping, the HPVA II analyzes materials such as MOFs, zeolites, activated carbons, and porous composites using only a few milligrams of sample.
At Prisma Scientific, our application team provides method development, data interpretation, and training to ensure accurate and reproducible high-pressure measurements tailored to your research or industrial process.
Key Applications
Hydrogen and natural-gas storage
Carbon dioxide sequestration
Catalysis and fuel-cell materials
Shale gas and coal-bed methane studies
Why Choose HPVA II
